Al Jihad fil Islam (English)

The fundamental conception, on which this book is based upon is to, primarily dispel the false accusation and concept of Islam being a violent religion which preaches the spilling of blood to its followers in light of explaining the concept of fair war in various theologies apart from Islam such as Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism. The author Syed Abul Ala Maudoodi himself refrains from presenting their own opinion rather the notion is supported by referring to the teachings of Islam and its laws without any alterations and presented exactly as inscribed in the Holy Quran, the Hadith and books of Islamic jurisprudence. To present our own belief system, commandments, teachings and codes and put forth arguments in support of them following which it is left to the reader’s intellect.
